I have L4 and L5 problem and have vertigo attacks frequently........ I also have perforation in my right ear......the cause is unknown....... Now the problem is when I slightly move my feet ..... I feel extremely disturb.....or when I am sitting I am always OK.....But when I go to bed I feel very uncomfortable......recently I had vertigo attacks for weeks.....

My chiropractor did this recently for vertigo caused by dental malpractice. He did this along with jaw, neck and back adjustments. I really did feel better. I have to go back tomorrow.

I bought one of those liter drinking bottles for work and home (for days off). Its helped tremendously. I was drinking less than I should before and struggling at times, and this really helped regulate how much I was drinking during the day. (I still do fail. I'm a runner and sometimes drink enough for my runs, then come home and in the 2024 summer heat would get dehydrated just sitting in my oven that masquerades as an apartment).

I get numb on my feet and hands at night. Who or what kind of dr should I go see? It’s happening to me for about a month now. I also have neck problems too. If I sleep on my side my hands get numb very bad at night. Please help me.

That explained my issue better than the recent specialists I've been seeing. My neck is too straight, when laying on my back with a rolled up towel for 60 seconds to work on increasing the curve in my neck, I got severe vertigo which lasted for hours. My vertigo came on suddenly...but it is present every day all day long but not while lying down.I have arthritis of the neck but never had any problems before with it causing vertigo. I damaged my shoulders and upper arms in a couple car accidents I had in 5 months.Never got stays or anything ad it was during vivid and they weren't taking anyone in unless you had civid. I am a caregiver for a husband with ESRD. Stressful!! I am always dehydrated and it is odd that I seldom feel thirst. But my arms and hands are wrinkled from dehydration.I once had to have a IV solution while in the ER and I felt better( from dehydration...I didn't have the vertigo at that time..) I do worry about a brain tumor of course. I know stress is a big factor.

I suffer from hearing loss at early age of 42 for 2 years now I get dizzy often I take that's due to the hearing but recently I have a damage shoulder and I've been checked out by doctors tray etc but the dizziness is more often now I take it as working by PC in office what best option should umo get help as doctors can't do much or a and e is there a home treatment that I can take a look into please? I live in UK and not been getting support I should be.

Get back to the basics. Stretch yoga everyday. Do strength training to to tone up prevent injury. Get a supportive somewhat firm mattress (no foam). Prevent sleep in awkward position. Document results and eat right.

I totally agree, I’ve just bought an adjustable bed, huge mistake. I’ve tried it for a week and I hate it. Lying flat is much better. Unless you have health issues that require you to sleep with legs or back elevated, avoid at all costs. Great for watching tv or breakfast in bed, but definitely not for sleeping. Someone commented that hospitals have them, so they must be good, hospitals have them for sick and injured people and to aid the nurses. Don’t buy an adjustable bed simply for sleeping. Reading, watching tv, working on a lap top, or breakfast in bed, great, but that’s it.

I feel out of balance and get light headed some times i have a badly worn neck with bone growth on c 5 and 6 with very little disc space . i think the nerves are getting caught as they come out the neck . i also get heart palpitations when my neck plays up . has anyone else had this ?

Took a fall on my moutain bike in the grass/dirt. Landed directly on my right arm/shoulder and my head didn't touch the ground. My arm is sore, my neck is a little less sore, but I definitely need to do something about it. thanks for the information.

Hi doc I have numbness and tingling in both hands at night and stiff right neck some days Some nights, if i sleep without a pillow, it doesn't come up. Day time I dont have issue. I remember a day when i did a pull-up, my neck and arm got hurt for almost 2 months. Did a CT and there is nothing wrong now going for MRI I worried if this has anything to do with MS?

I have dextro scoliosis in neck plus many herniated bulging and compressed down to C 7. Also gentle levocurvature in S5 L1, That’s not the pain bothering right now though. My pain around T 10,11, maybe 12 that goes around to front. I had for a number of weeks with a burning feeling in stomach. I had no idea this could be related to gastric. Any thoughts ?

Okay I have came back now to type a more in depth explanation on my phone so its easier. Back in March 2024 I drank 1.5 frozen coffees from dunkins (im not a coffee drinker anyway) & had some donuts in about a 2 hour span. My heart started racing and I felt like I was having anxiety so I laid down for a minute but it wouldn’t go away; I tried taking a warm bath but felt like I was going to pass out. Called 911 and everything checked out fine; I had SOB & Chest pains from then until about end of July. Chest pains went away but SOB stayed & on came lightheaded (like im going to pass out) & dry mouth as well as fatigued. Shortness of breath has since gone away & dry mouth isn’t there nearly as bad but the Fatigue & Lightheadedness is insane. Its all day every day , no stop in sight. What can cause this? My cardiologist said everything is good , my pcp said everything is good. All my tests are normal including Magnesium & B12 . Please help someone. Life isn’t even enjoyable.

I think every person is different one can pick up vertigo from a variety of reasons ...what I do myself put my scalp and then full face into bucket of very cold water every morning and evening plus drinks lots of cold water ...works for me

I was in the hospital and had surgery, im having Vertigo and dizziness, what should I Do doctor?

Back in April 2023, I fell from a wall and landed on my back on the road. I had some minor injuries that healed, but on June 9, 2023, I woke up dizzy and vomiting. Initially, I thought it was food poisoning, but after ongoing symptoms, I was diagnosed with Central Vertigo and stayed there for a week. My speech became slurred and stammering after the diagnosis. An MRI of my brain and a visit to an ENT doctor showed no issues. I was discharged but still felt worse. I then saw a Neurologist, who prescribed medication, did blood tests (all normal), and suggested physiotherapy. After multiple visits and over a year without improvement, I researched and suspect my condition is due to Cervical Vertigo or Cervicogenic Dizziness, possibly from my neck injury. I am doing neck exercises and walking daily. I learned that a chiropractor might help by checking my upper cervical spine. So I visited the Chiropractor today. He did make some adjustments saying he'll correct my spine, which he did. Also mentioned that it might be because of sinus infection which he did treat or clear my nasal and mouth area with balloon on both sides. Now, I have sore throat which I believe is normal. I want some professional advice, please. What's your suggestion in this case?

If you drink booze and nothing is working, try quitting alcohol. That could be one cause. It’s hard to find the real cause.

Hi I have been having this symptoms plus much more for a while, had studies done (CTScans, X-rays, MRI) diagnose with Scoliosis and some cervical mild impact on some neck vertebras, did PT for a while but this is still coming and is very annoying any further recommendations on great doctors for this on Phoenix Area?
